Up to two exhibitors, one active animal each. No account, no card, no time limit.

- Reading all of it, always
- Backup and restore — the file holds every figure and word you entered and moves to another phone
- Reminders
- Contacts, and the buyer tools: stages, letters, follow-ups, sale buyers, and contributions
- The show directory: browse it, and add a show to your own record
- Charts on screen, sharing a status message, and sharing a photograph
- Choosing which county record book you keep, and seeing what it still needs
subscription
Everything in the free version, plus the rest of the barn and the finished reports. Twelve months from the day you start, not a show season. The price is whatever the App Store shows for your country.
- A third exhibitor, or more
- More than one active animal for an exhibitor
- Making the county record book, laid out page by page
- The detailed report, and its text version
- Spreadsheet (CSV) files
One month free when you start the subscription, offered by Apple to an Apple ID that has not had it before. At the end of the month it becomes a paid year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Cancel in Settings on your device: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Cancel and none of your records is taken away: when the free month, or the year you paid for, runs out, you move to the free version, with everything you have already recorded.
If a subscription ends, your records stay.
Everything already in the app stays, and stays usable: every exhibitor, every animal, every weight, receipt, hour, and photograph. Logging carries on exactly as before. What you cannot do is add a third exhibitor or a second active animal for one exhibitor, or make reports.
Reading is always free
Every record you have entered stays readable on any version, at any status. A lapsed subscription has never hidden a season and never will.
Backup is always free
Backup and restore is never behind the subscription. That one file holds every figure and word you entered and moves to another phone — it is the escape hatch, and it is why charging for the reports is fair rather than coercive.
Health is never gated
Withdrawal periods are food safety. Putting that behind a paywall is a bad look no revenue justifies, so it is not in the paid list at all.
Coming soon to the App Store.
The download opens here the day it goes live. No date is promised, because App Review is Apple’s call rather than mine. Leave an email address and you will get one message, on that day, and nothing else.
Fair questions about paying for it
Why a year, not a show season?
Projects do not line up with a calendar or with each other. Twelve months from the day you start means it never runs out halfway through a project, whichever month you began.
Why charge at all?
There is no advertising and no analytics, so the app has one way to pay for itself. The subscription funds the record-book templates, the show directory, and the yearly work of keeping both correct.
What if the barn has no signal?
You keep working. Recording never needs a connection, and a phone that has checked the subscription before remembers the answer, so a paid year does not vanish at the scale house.
What about Family Sharing?
Not offered. The subscription belongs to the Apple ID that bought it. Restore Purchases moves it to another phone signed in with that same Apple ID; it does not reach a different family member’s account.
How do refunds work?
Apple takes the payment, so Apple gives the refund: ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. To cancel, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We never see the payment and cannot reverse a charge.
Moving to a new phone?
Your records move in a backup file, on any version. A subscription moves through Apple: sign in with the same Apple ID and tap Restore Purchases. It is deliberately not in the backup file.
Start free. Stay free as long as you like.
Apple gives the first month of the subscription free. It becomes a paid year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before, and if you cancel, you keep the free version with everything you have already recorded.
